Riga Stradins University
Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) is a public university in Riga, Latvia offering mostly medical and health care studies. Currently there are 9000 students studying at RSU out of which 2300 are international students. There are 40 Dutch students studying at our university. RSU is the leading university in the Baltics as regards international students. RSU has been ranked by QS Rankings as one of the top 1000 universities in the world.
The programs taught in English are: Medicine (MD), Dentistry (DDS), Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy as well as Master’s programs in Health Management, Public Health, Rehabilitation, International Governance (Diplomacy) and Social Work with Children and Youth.
Diplomas issued by RSU are recognized in the European Union and EEA countries, and in the majority of other countries. This goes hand in hand with RSU mission - to train highly qualified experts in the field of healthcare and social sciences, so they can serve the society of Latvia, the European Union and the world.
