Shaoxing University

Shaoxing University (USX), approved by the Ministry of Education of China in 1996 is a full-time comprehensive university granting bachelor and master’s degrees. It is located in Shaoxing, a historic city widely known for its deep cultural accumulations. 
Organized within (USX) are 16 schools, an affiliated hospital and one independent college, offering 63 BA programs in 9 academic disciplines, namely, economics, law, pedagogy, literature, science, engineering, medical science, management and arts. It offers 8 academic masters’ programs and 8 professional masters’ programs. The whole faculty totals more than 1900, out of which 1100 are full-time teaching faculty (more than 590 full and associate professors, as well as more than 54% doctoral degree holders). There are more than 16 000 students, including 138 international students from 32 countries are studying in the University.
Currently, the University adheres to the educational philosophy of "advocating academics and putting teachers and students first," comprehensively improves its educational level and level, and strives to move towards the goal of becoming a distinctive and high-level applied university.
