Taizhou Vocational College Of Science & Technology
Taizhou Vocational College of Science & Technology (TZVCST) is a full-time state-owned higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and sponsored by the People's Government of Taizhou City. It was developed from Huangyan Normal School founded in 1921 and Taizhou Agricultural School founded in 1937, which were merged in June 2003. and then in in February 2007, TZVCST was established. TZVCST won the first prize of the 2022 National Teaching Ability Competition of Vocational Colleges, the first prize of Zhejiang Science and Technology Award and the first prize of Zhejiang Teaching Achievement Award.
The campus covers an area of 525 mu (350,000m2), with a gross floor area of 220,000m2. There are nine secondary schools, namely Agricultural and Biological Engineering School (Rural Revitalization School), Mechatronics and Mould Engineering School (Changying Unmanned Aerial Vehicle School), Information Engineering School, Economy and Trade Management School, Accounting and Finance School, Humanity and Education School, Foundation School, Marxism School,and Continuing Education School, offering more than 30 specialties, such as Horticultural Technology, Food Nutrition and Testing, Mould Design and Manufacturing, Information Security Technology Application, Modern Logistics Management, Big Data and Accounting, and Preschool Education, among which, there is one national core specialty and 2 provincial high-level specialty clusters. Currently, there are more than 602 staff members and nearly ten thousand full-time students. Graduates are well-received by society. The employment rate has remained stable at around 97% for many years.
