Dual Study at the Osnabrück, University of Applied Sciences

Just across the German border you will find the Institut für Duale Studiengänge (IDS) of the Hochschule Osnabrück in Lingen. The IDS offers a unique way of studying at a university of applied sciences; connecting a scientific study, Bachelors or Masters, with practical experience in a company. Each semester consists of 10 weeks of theory at the Hochschule followed by 14-16 weeks in a firm. The chosen firm accompanies the student from the beginning of the study until graduation. 

Following a dual study at the Hochschule Osnabrück offers the following advantages and opportunities:

  • Structured organization of the study with comprehensive guidance before, during and after the dual study program
  • Internationally recognized Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Financial independence through the salary paid by the firm
  • Foreign stays during a dual study are possible
  • Continuous practice transfer throughout the study
  • Good job opportunities with great job guarantee at the firm
  • Study in small study groups with lecturers who have extensive practical knowledge
  • A strong emphasis on sustainability throughout the study

The dual studies at the IDS are offered in German.
