Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies

The Veterinary Medicine program at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies offers a comprehensive education based on the “One Health” concept, integrating animal, human, and environmental well-being. Over six years of full-time studies in English, students gain deep theoretical knowledge and extensive practical skills in animal health, diagnostics and treatment.

The program combines modern scientific approaches with hands-on clinical training in the university’s Veterinary Hospital, which consists of three specialized units - the Small Animal Clinic, Large Animal Clinic, and Horse Clinic. Students learn from experienced professionals and have opportunities for international exchange and research, preparing them to work confidently in both local and global veterinary fields.

Choosing Veterinary Medicine at LBTU means joining a program that values innovation, animal welfare, and sustainability. Graduates emerge as skilled veterinarians ready to contribute to animal health care and scientific advancement worldwide.
