Would you like to spend an academic year living in Spain while gaining valuable professional experience?

The Language Assistant Programme offers Dutch students and graduates the opportunity to work in Spanish primary and secondary schools, supporting English language learning and promoting cultural exchange.

As a language assistant, you will:
• Work alongside Spanish teachers in the classroom.
• Help students improve their communication skills in English.
• Share your culture and learn about Spanish society from the inside.
• Gain experience in education, public speaking and intercultural communication.
• Improve your Spanish through daily life and professional interaction.
• Enjoy school holidays and free time to travel and discover Spain.

The programme lasts from October to May. Participants work around 14 hours per week and receive a monthly allowance.
This is not just a teaching experience. It is an opportunity to live in Spain, build international skills, expand your professional profile and create lifelong personal and professional connections.

During the session, you will learn about the application process, working conditions, placement opportunities and practical advice from previous participants.
