If you want to become a language assistant in a Spanish school, the Language Assistant Program in Spain is for you! Come to Spain and become a cultural ambassador representing your country.

As a language assistant, you will be fulfilling the role of a cultural ambassador as you advance English language learning and mutual understanding through cultural exchange. As such, your role is to encourage students of all ages in Spain to broaden their knowledge of your language (English) and culture (your own country).

- Language assistants will be part of the teaching staff of the school where they are assigned to teach.

- They support English teachers in the design and implementation of activities that contribute to improve the students’ linguistic skills.

- They can collaborate in classes of other subjects taught in English (CLIL).

- They will teach small or complete groups, under the supervision of a mentor teacher, and take part in other activities in the school (cultural activities, trips, etc.).

- They will be off during school holidays (paid holidays).

- Language assistants will work 14 hours a week for up to 8 months (from 1st October to 31st May).

- Language assistants will receive an allowance of at least 800 € a month.
