Study, internship, gap year, language courses and (voluntary) work abroad

Study

Are your students looking for a full study programme abroad? There is more than enough choice at The Go-Abroad Fair. Whether you just got your high school or bachelor's degree in the pocket, there are offers from all over the world.

Check out the universities present

Exchange

Is the goal to quickly learn a new language and discover a different culture? Then an exchange fits perfectly. As your students are in close contact with residents of the country, they get used to the way of life there and soon feel at ease.

Discover the possibilities

Internship

An internship is the best way to get acquainted with the professional field. Students gain practical experience, but they also find out whether the profession they are studying suits them. An internship abroad ensures that, besides making professional steps, they also gain new insights on a personal level.

Check out the internship companies

Gap year

Some young people (self-chosen or forced) do not study for a year and end up in a gap year. This is a period which can be very usefully spent in terms of personal development. There are a lot of options on how to spend a gap year, such as backpacking, working, taking courses, etc.

Explore gap year options

Language trip

Do your students want to get better at speaking a particular language? Then a language course is the ideal solution. When you cross borders, you are forced to speak a different language. Or maybe learning a completely new language is something that interests them? It's all possible, so be sure to explore a language course abroad at The Go-Abroad Fair.

Check out language travel agencies

High school programme

What do you think of when you picture an American high school? Yellow school buses, proms, sports games and parties with red cups? Right! Your students experience all that during a high school programme. But it's much more than that. They become part of another family and their daily life and culture, they improve their English and make new friends.

Discover the possibilities

(Voluntary) work

Is adventure the most important thing for your students? Then a (voluntary) job abroad might be for them. This provides a valuable experience, as they get to know the country's culture very well. With a paid job abroad, they earn a nice pocket money, always handy. Prefer to volunteer and help people? That is also an option.

View options for (voluntary) work

Information & Inspiration

Get yourself, and your students, informed and inspired by organisations and institutions offering a wide range of studies, internships, (volunteer) work, high school programmes and language courses abroad.

A visit to The Go-Abroad Fair is the ideal opportunity to meet educators from all over the world. Find out more about the possibilities of an adventure abroad together with your students on 29 & 30 November in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht.

Who is the fair for?

Over 140 participants

A full study in Madrid, an internship in Sydney, a language course in Miami or a master's in Argentina? That and much more, your students will find at The Go-Abroad Fair!

140 participants from all over the world, including many leading universities, will tell all about your students' dream destinations. Check out the list of participants and see which organisations at the fair are definitely not to be missed.

Discover adventures and get answers to your questions

Do your students have the plan to go abroad all mapped out? Or do they still have no idea how to approach it? Do they want to do part or all of their studies abroad, or are they taking a gap year and going on a language trip or a high school programme? Perhaps voluntary work is something for them.

Participants from various countries will do their best to inform your students as much as possible, so that they can make the choice that suits them best. If they have any questions, they can ask them at various stands. In addition, after each lecture there will be room to ask questions of experienced study abroad students.
