Your high school adventure begins at The Go-Abroad Fair
What do you think of when you imagine an American high school? Yellow school buses, proms, sports games and parties with red cups? Right! You experience all that during a high school programme. But it's much more than that. During a high school programme, you become part of another family and their daily life and culture, improve your English and make plenty of new friends. By the way, high school programmes are also available outside the US. Are you interested? Then get an update on high school programmes at The Go-Abroad Fair on 24 and 25 November.

Levi decided to take a year-long high school programme. In Arizona, USA, to be precise. She gained a lot from it: "The insights I gained in America led to a different perspective that I ultimately want to move forward with in my life."
Levi continues: "A year abroad has helped me on many levels. For instance, I developed my cultural awareness, became more independent and mature, built self-confidence, created adaptability, built problem-solving skills and developed leadership qualities. So personally, I have grown immensely. Naturally, you get better at English. Ideal for later during your studies or work. I already notice that in the studies I am doing now!"
The great thing about a high school programme is also that you come into contact with all kinds of different disciplines. This gives you new insights. Levi also noticed this: "Most schools offer much more variety in terms of creative, musical, sports or science subjects. Partly because of this, I decided to pursue a different study than the one I initially had in mind."
